To create and facilitate experiential learning spaces for a diverse audience to address complex social and cultural issues, with a focus on technology, gender, media, sexuality, and trauma.

APPROACH

  • Developed engaging end-to-end sychronous and asynchronous learning experiences for adult learners

  • Launched a popular upper-division original course based on student and department needs

  • Launched a 2-day symposium with experts from across California to hold workshops on science and technology topics for non-experts

  • Published original research on pedagogy for marginalized students ​​

  • Selected to sit on the Executive Committee to provide feedback to senior leaders
